| I give grinds in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Philosophy and specifically in the following topics: Ancient Greek Philosophy- Socrates, Plato. Aristotle, Herodotus and Hippocrates. Thomas Aquinas on Law, The Renaissance- Petrarch, Erasmus and Humanism. Descartes and The Authority of Reason, Newton and Science, Hobbes and Social Science, Moral and Political Philosophy- Murder, Morality and The Value of Life, John Rawls Theory of Justice, Ethics and Politics of Virtue. David Hume and The Pursuit of Happiness, European Philosophy- Voltaire and Jean-Jacques Rousseau. The Enlightenment. Immanuel Kant, Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller on Freedom. Existentialism and specifically Blaise Pascal, Soren Kierkegaard, Fyodor Dostoevysky, Friedrich Nietzsche, Martin Heidegger, Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Albert Camus. Friedrich Nietzsche and The Will to Power and Nihilism. Marxism. William James and Pragmatism. I also assist students with the planning of a well thought out, coherent, concise and academic answer to their assignments along with assisting with Editing and Proof-Reading of assignments. |
