EXPLORE invites students and staff to work together on innovative projects to build a culture of innovation on campus

EXPLORE supports students and university staff to collaborate on innovative, new projects to benefit NUI Galway and the wider community.

NUI Galway and NUI Galway Students' Union joined forces in early 2012 to introduce the EXPLORE initiative, which is the first scheme of its kind in Irish higher education. Students and staff team up, devise an innovative, sustainable project, apply for €1,000 funding and, where successful, deliver this project within the academic year.

Over 210 student and staff partners have collaborated on 38 EXPLORE projects to date. Download the new EXPLORE booklet.
